Setting favorite channels in an IPTV player

Marking favorite channels in an IPTV player puts your most-watched channels at the top or in their own list, instead of having to scroll through hundreds of channels every time.

How setting favorites usually works

Select a channel in the channel list and use the dedicated button (often one of the colored buttons on your remote) to add it to favorites. Favorite channels then appear in their own, quickly reachable group.

Why this is worth it with a large playlist

Many IPTV playlists contain hundreds to thousands of channels. Without favorites, you scroll to the same handful of channels every time you watch — with favorites, you can reach them in two clicks.

Removing a favorite channel

This usually works symmetrically: the same menu/button you used to add a channel is also how you remove it from your favorites again.
