Your playlist provider determines what you can actually play; a trending/discovery screen pulls popularity data from a separate source (TMDB) to show what's widely watched right now, independent of what's in your specific playlist.

That can happen — the discovery screen shows what's popular in general, not guaranteed to be what your specific provider offers. Search for the title in your own on-demand library to check whether it's available.
