Syncing subtitles in an IPTV player means manually adjusting a time offset, so subtitles that appear slightly early or late line up with the picture again.

Why subtitles fall out of sync

This usually happens when the subtitle source was made for a slightly different release/version of the movie or episode than the video you're playing — for example a different framerate, or a shortened/extended edition.

How to adjust the offset

In the subtitle menu during playback, you'll find a sync setting that shifts the subtitles forward or backward in small steps (for example half-seconds), until the timing matches what you hear and see.

Having to keep readjusting

If the adjustment needed changes as the movie progresses (instead of a fixed, constant shift), that points to a framerate difference between the source and the subtitles — a fixed offset won't fully fix that, and finding a different subtitle upload is the better solution.
